Education: - Master Degree in Epidemiology – Essential - PhD Degree in Epidemiology - Preferred Work Experience: - With Master Degree three (3) years working experience as Epidemiologist - Essential - With PhD Degree, working experience in related field - Preferred Research Experience: - Epidemiology or Public health research experience - Essential English Language Level: -Level – I – Essential

Job Responsibilities

- Assist in evaluating scientific, basic sciences and clinical research applications received from members of the King Abdul Aziz Medical City (KAMC) staff and in improving the quality of research proposals prior to their submission to the research council for review. - Assist in the periodic assessment of ongoing research studies. - Supervise the use of all medical and research databases and help in providing a security tools in order to protect the patient privacy. - Engage actively in basic and/or clinical Research. - Assist the supervisor in seeking a progressive growth of investigative work at KAMC by submitting proposals for extramural funding stimulating investigative studies by other members of the medical research staff, and by appropriate promotional efforts of the KAMC academic programs. - Assist in the preparation of personnel evaluation for subordinate staff in accordance with the hospital and departmental personnel policy. - Assist the supervisor in long-range planning of research activities at KAMC of in the field. - Share with the supervisor in the important decision making or planning within the Research Center. - Assist in the development of the Research Center reports. - Maintain current clinical expertise through continuing education pursuits. - Conducting a statistical and clinical support for the National Guard Health Affairs during the course and workshop, i.e., Clinical Research Course and Workshop; and Statistics Made Easy Course. - Participate in the education and Physicians, Nursing Staff, Laboratory Research Staff and others regarding Biostatistics or any other area of expertise. - Perform other job related duties, as assigned.
