Education: Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering - Essential Work Experience: Seven (7) years of experience in project planning — Essential. English Language Level: STEP: 75%, OR IELTS: 6, OR TOEFL: (PBT: 500) (IBT: 61) - Essential.
• Assists with maintaining performance measures for productivity, rework and achievement against plans. Documents and submits required reports. • Prepares plan, schedule, budget and interim reports as required. • Ensures compliance with the work breakdown structure and coding and provides immediate remedial solutions to potential problems for efficient execution. • Recommends improvements in planning standards, monitoring protocol, procedures, processes and systems. • Identifies and recommends incorporating updates to existing safety procedures in the area of responsibility and participating in training activities to facilitate technical and safety on the personnel's job training needs. • Be apprised of the contents of all documentation, reports, and files contained in the Technical Library structural engineering records. • Utilizes computer-based software, program and other engineering technologies. • Plans the initial stages of activities in a structured manner for a successful project outcome, i.e., collecting all the information necessary for planning a project from the client's requirement (end-user) to sites, costs, logistics and resources. • Appraises the conditions of a construction project and analyses logistics, and prepares reports for the design team. • Liaises with the design team to plan the structure of a project and anticipate the labor, technical, equipment and material demands of a given task as the initial overseer of projects. • Performs other job related duties as required.
