Education: Bachelor Degree in Library and Information Sciences, Business Administration or a related field – Essential Work Experience: Ten (10) years of experience in Libraries and Information, including four (4) years of experience in leadership position — Essential English Language Level: Level – I – Essential IELTS: 5, STEP: %75, or TOEFL: (PBT: 466) (IBT: 51)
Principal Duties: • Ensures the everyday activities related to the area are run smoothly by setting parameters to judge how efficiently and effectively the Center is operating. • Contributes to the development of the university’s strategic and business plans in relation to Center. • Develops and monitors the implementation of goals, objectives, and work standards for the department, prepares and administer the department staffing and operational needs. • Oversees the attraction of the qualified personnel in coordination with the relevant departments. • Directs the overall operation of the system and the needed technical tools and improve the work performance by investing in new technologies. • Ensures that the frameworks and standards are in place to determine the level of achievement of these plans and goals. • Analyzes, presents and communicates relevant statistical reports in an accurate and timely manner to the General Director. • Directs the process of the communication with the relevant government agencies on regular basis, and ensuring the presence of effective internal communication channels that achieve a high level of integration and interconnection between all its organizational units. • Maintains strict confidentiality of all materials and information. • Performs other job-related duties as required.
