Job Requirements

- Education: Diploma degree in Veterinary or Animal Care - Essential - Work Experience: One (1) year working experience in Veterinary Facility - Essential English Language Level: STEP: 50%, or IELTS: 4.5, or TOEFL: (PBT: 413-410) (IBT: 34)

Job Responsibilities

- Performs daily observations, handles and moves of animals and their environmental conditions according to requirements in a safe manner. - Feeds and waters animals daily and ensures individual animal welfare. - Maintains animal bedding and housing conditions to prescribed standards. - Clean or maintains animal cages, trays, racks, rooms and equipment as required. - Maintains animal breeding colonies according to SOP instructions and experimental animal groups according to protocol requirements. - Ensures adequate supply and integrity of animal and facility consumables. - Maintains animal facility records and forms according to instructions. - Assists authorized personnel with administering medication and/or dosing, technical procedures including blood collection and injections and euthanasia procedures. - Provides input on methods to improve work safety, efficiency and animal care. - Ensures all work complies with ethical conduct for care of animal and reports unexpected or adverse events or observations to supervisor. - Performs other job related duties as required.
