Education: Doctorate Degree (Ph.D.) in Health Related Science. - Essential Ph.D. in health sciences or a related discipline with focus on cancer or infectious disease research - Preferred Work Experience: One (1) year experience in Medical Research - Preferred English Language Level: STEP: 75%, OR IELTS: 6, OR TOEFL: (PBT: 500) (IBT: 61) - Essential. Other Skills: Work on animal models (mouse, rats, rabbits, zebrafish, primates, ect.) - Essential Engaged or previously engaged in a translational research project - Preferred Expertise in Human Pluripotent, stem cell, and CRISPR/ Cas9
• Assists KAIMRC Scientists, Senior Research Scientists and other collaborators to plan and design research experiments and research projects. Participate in the relevant research projects under the direction of the assigned Scientist. • Conducts active lab research, design and evaluate experiments. • Prepares and publishes relevant scientific manuscripts under the direction of the assigned Scientist. • Develops new ideas promoting ongoing research. • Teaches techniques to others; train and oversee technicians as assigned by the Scientist. • Attends and presents seminars bringing new expertise to the research program; serve on the internal institute committees; help achieve the institute's further goals. • Maintains the KAIMRC research laboratories according to the individually assigned specialty in compliance with the laws, the Ministry of Health's standards, and other accrediting and regulatory bodies. • Performs other job related duties as required.
