Education: Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or equivalent. Work Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of experience in developing, testing and modifying software. • Ability to prepare clear, detailed and efficient computer instructions using current industry standard programming languages for optimum performance. • Demonstrated skills to work independently and part of team • English Language and computer skills. 1. As part of team, apply current industry standard methods to code, test and troubleshoot programs utilizing the appropriate hardware, databases and new programming technology. 2. Perform systems analysis, conduct feasibility studies, consult with assist computer operators or system analysts to define user requirements and or clarify program internet, identify problems, and suggest change before writing or modify programs. 3. Compile and write documentation of program development and subsequent revisions, inserting comments in the coded instructions so others can understand the program. 4. Prepare detailed documentation for software development life Cycle (SDLC) of project development processes. 5. Apply best practice programming methods while observing prescribed health and safety procedures for self and computer system end users. 6. Train users and operators on how to use a particular application or program. 7. Develop or contribute in writing computer system instructions or manuals. 8. Maintain confidentiality for all information processed, stored or utilized as resource. 9. Perform subspecialty functions based on employee’s assigned Department requirement (s). 10. Perform other related duties as assigned.
