- Assist Senior Research Scientists in designing and administrating clinical trials. - Perform a variety of procedures using established laboratory techniques on both manual and automated equipment under the supervision of Senior Scientist. Adhere to safety guideline when dealing with laboratory materials and equipment. - Help evaluate gathered data and monitor the procedures to assure that the methodology complies with professional protocol. - Conduct hands on active lab research and initiate independent research project in advanced medical/clinical research with the minimal supervision and direction of the Senior Scientist. - Assist with evaluating scientific/ medical diagnostics, pathologists research applications received from KAIMRC division or those interested to review and improve the quality of their research proposals. - Undertake methodologies of proven path evidence and functions as a Principle Investigator and representative of KAIMRC in the release of high impact scientific publications. - Responsible for the activities in the assigned areas of specialty within the field of Medical Biotechnology, which include the organization and supervision of research education, workshops, conferences and topical meetings, among other. - Represent KAIMRC research work at the national and international conferences. - Train junior Researchers and Technologists on new research platform, equipment and technologies. - Promote team work, communications and sharing of information among projects in domain of expertise. - Ensure all conducted research is in compliance with the local laws, the standards adopted by the Ministry of Health, and the accrediting and regulatory bodies. - Perform other job related duties as assigned.
