-Monitors ongoing studies, identifies problems and/or inconsistencies, recommends corrective action as appropriate, and ensures compliance with research protocols and regulatory agencies. -Assists with the implementation of research projects, such as reporting the status of various research tasks and identifying ways to improve research design. -Contributes and supports the research projects of colleges and reviews the interpretation of results and collaborates on the preparation of manuscripts for publication. -Participates in field trips related to assigned research projects and conducts research studies in coordination with the Principal Researcher(s)/Investigator(s). -Assists with the Principal Researcher(s)/Investigator(s) on the assigned projects to plan the necessary steps to commence and provides regular updates on the project status. -Handles collection of data from various internal/external/studies sources using methods that include but are not limited to interviews, questionnaires, diagnostic tests, etc. -Evaluates/identifies to validate the quality of data; and prepares appropriate documentation in collaboration with the Principal Researcher(s)/Investigator(s). -Reviews and provides justification on the recorded data in the event of any queries that may arise on the particular assigned research project(s). -Participates in the analysis of data collected in research trials and manuscript preparation. -Creates and updates database systems regularly and ensures that collected data are added in the research database by entering codes, transcriptions, tabulations of retrieved data, and regular inputs on the status of the assigned research projects. - Attends meetings and contributes to research publications or presentations as appropriate. - Supports in the literature review process. - Performs other related duties as required.
