Job Responsibilities

-Plans, develops and implements formal psychological treatments, including psychological interventions for individuals, families and groups within and across teams using recognized and standardized psychometric techniques. -Evaluates and provides treatment options taking into account both theoretical and therapeutic models and factors concerning historical and developmental shaping. -Provides professional educational and clinical guidance to trainees and subordinate staff; participate in conducting psychological advice, guidance, consultation, and training of other professionals contributing directly to the patient's formulation, diagnosis, and treatment plan where appropriate. -Undertakes appropriate research tasks and provide effective clinical and professional supervision of junior staff. - Conducts risk assessment and risk management with individual clients and provide advice on psychological aspects. - Ensures that all members of a clinical team have access to a psychologically-based framework to understand the care of clients better. -Provides pre and post-qualification teaching of clinical and counseling psychology. - Ensures highest standards of clinical record keeping, including electronic data entry, recording, and reports writing. - Ensures the maintenance and safe storage of specific program, client records and all other pertinent documents. - Performs other job-related duties as required.
