Job Responsibilities

• Provides appropriate, intellectually stimulating instruction by taking into consideration the unique abilities of each course participant and organizes the instructions in ways to maximize participants learning. • Utilizes appropriate teaching and learning strategies to communicate subject matter to participants. Modify, where appropriate, instructional methods and strategies to meet diverse participants' needs in accordance to the expected clinical standards and guidelines, up-to-date technology, and relevant accrediting bodies. • Demonstrates a thorough and accurate knowledge or discipline; and display an ability to interpret and evaluate the theories of field or discipline. • Develops and explains methods that fairly measure participant's progress toward course objectives. Evaluates participant's performance objectively and consistently to promote maximum learning. • Provides instruction that produces educational improvements for all assigned participants based on the identified needs from pre educational testing. • Submits to the Program Director, a unit outline that explains how the instructor will implement the course goal and objectives. • Attends faculty meetings prior to the start of the program. • Contributes to the selection and development of instructional materials in accordance with course objectives. • Ensures and obtains current instructional approach, teaching strategies and techniques by participating in any professional organizations related to its field and attending meetings, conferences and workshops. • Recommends and develops new programs/training activities based on the organization identified learning needs. • Monitors the behavior of participant in the academic setting; work with the Program Coordinator and the Program Director and the training assistant, to monitor classroom operations in terms of absenteeism, tardiness, and discipline. • Performs other job related duties as assigned.
