Job Requirements

English Language skills: IELTS: 6, STEP: 75, or TOEFL: (PBT: 500) (IBT: 61) Education: Bachelor Degree in Occupational Safety or Health Sciences or related discipline-E Work Experience: Minimum of three (3) years experience as a Safety Inspector or similar role-E Other Skills/Knowledge: Basic knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), National Fire Protection Association (NFP A), safety management and risk management. Licenses Required: Valid Saudi Driving License

Job Responsibilities

Main areas of responsibility: I. Keep up to date with new legislation, health and safety standards. 2. Conduct in-depth and regular safety inspections and report deficiencies with regard to all types of hazards. 3. Carry-out Risk Assessments and conducts Accident Investigations. 4. Produce factual safety reports on conditions found, any unsafe acts, conditions or work practices identified, any faults observed or potential hazards, supported by recommendations on how to correct these issues. 5. Carry-out follow-up inspection to ensure remedial work has been completed and that reported faults have been rectified. 6. Carry-out safety inspections and audits on all construction, renovation and alteration works in NGHA facilities to ensure that safety is not compromised and that standard are maintained or improved. Ensure that employees wear personal protective equipment’s (PPE) as required and adhere to safety standards and procedures. 7. Monitor and inspect contractors working in NGHA to ensure their practices comply with NGHA standards and that they have the necessary safety practices and procedures in place, for example, safety statements, work methods, personal protective equipment, etc. 8. Provide training with regard to health and safety, i.e., risk assessments, accident investigation, policies and procedures, etc. 9. Ensure that all departments comply with NGHA standards with regard to safety. 10. Prepare and submit monthly activity reports. 11. Preform other job related duties as required.
