Job Requirements (Essential, Preferred): - Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing – Essential. - Work Experience: One (1) year of clinical Nursing experience – Preferred. - Saudi Commission for Health Specialties Registration – Essential. - English Language Level: IELTS: 5 or more, STEP: 75 or more , TOEFL: (PBT: 466 or more)
Principal Duties: - Prepares, administers, and documents prescribed medication, managing intravenous lines, observing, monitoring and recording patients' conditions. - Maintains knowledge of resources for therapeutic effects, usual dosages, contraindications, side effects and adverse reactions for all drugs and parental fluids administered, and escalate any adverse events/reactions. - Performs an age-specific, systematic, and holistic initial assessment of the patient health status, and refer to appropriate specialty as required. - Evaluates on an ongoing basis the patient's progress and the appropriateness of the plan of care involving the patient/family and other healthcare team members. - Supervises nursing care provided by maintaining high visibility with staff/patients on areas of responsibility. - Demonstrates effective communication and collaboration skills when interacting with patients, other health care team members, and staff of other departments. - Provides quality of care that is evidence-based and measure health outcomes and help to prevent the patient's condition from deteriorating. - Ensures adequate supplies and readiness of equipment are available at all times, and report maintenance issues, broken or damaged instruments and equipment. - Documents nursing interactions in patients’ clinical records and maintains all records pertaining to the operation of the assigned area and generates reports as required. - Performs other job-related duties as required.
