Job Responsibilities

-Monitors and supervises the department's assigned staff for the job-related activities in the section, such as decontamination, preparation, sterilization, distribution, materials management, and follow-up of instruments and equipment. -Maintains high visibility and monitors the sterilization process of equipment, instruments, and supplies to ensure a quality product and patient outcomes. -Ensures proper maintenance of equipment and sufficient supply is available. -Supervises employee orientation and evaluates staff performance on an ongoing basis. -Provides administrative support such as recruitment, staff training and development, and preparation and delegation of work schedules and workflow. -Performs other job-related duties as required.
