Job Requirements

Education Requirement: Diploma or Associate Degree in Technical Support or related discipline. English Language Skills: LEVEL II IELTS: 4.5, STEP: 50, or TOEFL: (PBT: 410-413) (IBT: 34) Work Experience: Minimum of two (2) year work experience in a related field.

Job Responsibilities

- Setup and operates technical equipment for any requested University function or event. - Ensures adequate supplies and maintains up-to-date documentation and essential feedback for equipment, provided service, incident, and utilization reports. - Conducts a scheduled inventor of equipment/devices/supplies. - Tests,tunes,calibrates and cleans technical equipment in a scheduled basis: request the replacement or repair of malfunctioning equipment and material. - Provides technical support for requests by using manuals to diagnose and make repairs, identifying problems, researching solutions as well as helping the end user in the use of technology. - Ensures that all assigned technical support requests are documented and adequately resolved. - Install and maintains Microsoft Office and other Personal Computers based applications and explores new software or equipment, updates or changes appropriate for the need of the University. - Instructs students, staff, and faculty to follow the approved technical policies and procedures and report incidents. - Provide training and orientation for end user on how to operate the equipment. - Adheres to all prescribed safety procedures (Anti-virus, Deep Freeze, Symantec, Power related issues, etc.). - Ensures compliance with departmental regulation and operating procedures. - Performs other job-related duties as assigned .
