Job Requirements: Education : Bachelor Degree in Basic/Health related science – Essential Bachelor Degree in Biomedical Engineering – Preferred Work Experience: Two (2) years of experience in Intellectual Property Management – Essential Other Skills: Prototyping English Language skills: IELTS: 5, STEP: 75, or TOEFL: (PBT: 466) (IBT: 51)

Job Responsibilities

Main areas of responsibility: - Responsible for managing all communication from the beginning phase of receiving Disclosure Forms through the finishing registration of patents, and commercialization. - Works with Immediate Supervisor on minimizing the inventors' time spent in patent submission, prosecution & analysis. - Prepares, files and screens innovator's Disclosure Form submitted to ITTMO and ensure complete patent applications maintains a docketing and filing system capturing all tracking activities related to deadlines and due dates and fees. - Provides expertise to innovators with drafting and re-drafting new patent applications based on legal advisor's feedback and Provides periodic reports concerning the status and direction of intellectual property. - Coordinates with the outside counsel on drafting and prosecution of new and pending patent and trademark applications and related filings. - Maintains the attorney appointments and due date calendars, ensuring that all dates are met. - Calculates, prepares and submits payment requests. - Ensures that the database in properly updated and the tracking in logged. - Participates in identifying potential receptors/investors to commercially exploit the intellectual property. - Manages internal and external relationships and communications with key stakeholders. - Performs other job related duties as required.
