Job Requirements

- Education: Bachelor Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or Other related field form an accredited institution – Essential. - Work Experience: Minimum of (8) years’ position-related practical experience , (3) years of which In supervisory capacity - Essential. - English Language Level : STEP: 75%, OR IELTS: 6, OR TOEFL: (PBT: 500) (IBT: 61) - Essential. - CISCO Certified Expert Internetwork –CCIE or equivalent – Preferred.

Job Responsibilities

- Manage the department services and activities including planning, designing, implementing, operating and maintaining networks infrastructure and all internal support functions within the assigned area. Ensure that the everyday activities related to network infrastructure are run smoothly by setting parameters to judge how efficiently the department is operating. Report progress to immediate superior. - Plan and coordinate, through subordinate level staff, the department’s work plan. Manage and review overall network strategy, documentations, architecture, diagram, hardware and software applications, support and licenses, including plans, designs, and implementation of local area network (LAN), wide area network (WANs) and Wireless LAN (WLAN) ensuring the installations have appropriate software and hardware tools for high network availability, reliability and security. - Conduct, review, evaluate, develop and oversee the day-to-day operation of the network technologies and hardware and set corresponding network standards. Perform capacity planning and analysis to ensure networks can support long term growth of data and applications. - Manage network resources including the network team, vendors and contractors. Coordinate with regional network teams to ensure unified processes. - Responsible for the plan, design, suggestion for procurement, installation of new network equipment associated with new facilities and expansions and maintain all network passive items including cabling system, copper, fiber and patch panels. Monitor proactively all network components to identify potential network issues and take appropriate actions. Report regularly to immediate superior the performance of network elements along along with recommendations. - Manage the activities and performance of staff. Monitor workload, administrative and support systems, and internal reporting relationships; identify opportunities for improvement.
