1- Conducts chemical analysis of body fluids, including blood, urine, and spinal fluid, to determine the presence of normal and abnormal components relevant to teaching sessions. 2- Analyzes laboratory findings to check the accuracy of the teaching test. 3- Operates calibrates and maintains equipment used in quantitative and qualitative analysis, such as spectrophotometers, calorimeters, flame photometers, and computer-controlled analyzers and reports any laboratory instruments malfunction. 4- Enters data from analysis of medical tests and clinical results into computer for storage. 5- Analyzes samples of biological material for chemical content or reaction. 6- Establishes and monitors programs to ensure the accuracy of laboratory results. 7- Sets up, cleans, and maintains laboratory equipment and stores the accessories and spare parts of each equipment in the laboratory. 8- Supervises, trains, and directs Laboratory technicians, medical students, and other laboratory workers engaged in laboratory Sessions. 9- Develops, standardizes, evaluates, and modifies procedures, techniques, and tests used in laboratory experiments. 10- Performs other job-related duties as required.
