Job Requirements

Education: Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems or related field or equivalent – Essential. Knowledge of comparing environment currently used in ISD - Essential. Work Experience: Seven (7) years of experience with four (4) years in a supervisory capacity — Essential. English Language Level : STEP: 75%, OR IELTS: 6, OR TOEFL: (PBT: 500) (IBT: 61) - Essential.

Job Responsibilities

- Analyze systems software and software requirements related to installation needs. Specify and implement current and new software modifications to improve applications and operations. - Test new and modified software using sample set of installation programs; analyze and evaluate results. - Design, code, test and implement special software required for installation. - Identify software problems and assure corrective actions. - Coordinate problem resolution with other sections. - Ensure security and integrity of systems and database; analyze, modify and control database software. - Evaluate software and hardware as needed; recommend purchases when appropriate. - Manage technical staff; assign work and ensure that it is completed in timely manner. - Assist with overall planning, standards, procedures and training needs; advise on changes in the departmental policies and procedures. - Train and guide subordinates; interview job applicants. - Evaluate performances of the section staff. - Maintain up to data documentation of systems software and hardware.
