Job Requirements

Education: High School Degree – Essential Work Experience: One (1) year of experience as a security officer – Essential Other Requirements: The employee must be fit for duty. Required to work in flexible/shift hours. English Language Level: Level – III – Essential

Job Responsibilities

-Monitors access control on entrance and exit area at vehicle gates, college buildings/classrooms, staff offices and staff housing. -Secures, guards and lookouts the internal premises and gates of KSAU-HS -Logs visitor’s information, issues temporary ID cards and controls surrender and re-claim of visitors Iqama requesting access to university facilities. -Maintains peace and order and reports misconduct, violations of rules, that creates nuisance within the university campus. -Conducts daily routine inspections of high risk and potential security problems during/after working hours. -Documents untoward incidents and submits incidents reports to proper authorities. -Ensures communication devices such as hand held two way radios, camera monitoring devices and patrol vehicles are available in case of emergency purposes. -Attends additional training or refresher course on security and safety procedures as mandated to update personal knowledge on practices and conducts of safety and security measures. -Responds to any immediate security alert and ensures the whole area is cleared and secured. -Directs or re-directs traffic control routes for vehicles and school pedestrians. -Performs other job related duties as required.
