Job Requirements

English Language skills: IELTS: 6, STEP: 75, or TOEFL: (PBT: 500) (IBT: 61) Certification: Valid Saudi Commission Classification for Health Specialties Education: Bachelors Degree Radiological Sciences or related field or equivalent-Essential current certification/registration/license to practice diagnostic radiology Work Experience: Minimum of seven (7) years experience in Medical Imaging department, two (2) years of which must be at supervisory level -Essential

Job Responsibilities

-Organize, supervise, and coordinate the provision of Medical Imaging services. -Assist in developing, modifying and implementation of policies, procedures and protocols in the general area of the Medical Imaging Department. -Participate in the planning, development and implementation of the department strategic plan. -assist in development and implementing a Quality Management program for Medical Imaging services. -Plan, monitor and review all aspects of Medical Imaging services. -Conduct department meeting and represent the department by attending relevant meeting and committees as delegated. -Ensure an adequate operation level of supplies and consumables whilst taking appropriate measures to correct deficiencies. -Ensure compliance of all staff as per hospital radiation safety, fire Department, Environment Services, Infection Control, and Electrical Safety Protocols and guidelines. -Participate in all staff management processes including recruitment, education, training, development and evaluation and vacation planning. -Liaise effectively with all concerned department ensuring a smooth operation of Medical Imaging services. -Maintain all records pertaining to the operation of Medical Imaging services and produce report required. -Prepare and delegate work schedule and workflow chart in faire and organized manned. -Ensure scheduled work is completed before signing out. -Review and comply with hospital and departmental policies and protocols. -Report all equipment breakdowns in timely manner to Clinical Engineering department. Technical: -Liaise with Clinical Engineering Department in planning Preventative Maintenance schedules for all equipment to ensure. -Ensure staff compliance with the International Patient Safety Coals. -Advise and assist staff to perform Medical Imaging examination for all patients as requested and ensure availability of the highest quality images. -Ensure communication with patients and staff is meaningful and professional.
