Education: Bachelor Degree in Occupational Safety or Health Sciences or related discipline. Work Experience: Minimum of three (2) years experience as a Safety Inspector or similar role. Skills/Knowledge: Basic knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), safety management and risk management.
1. Keep up to date with new legislation, health and safety standards. 2. Conduct in-depth and regular safety inspections and report deficiencies with regard to all types of hazards. 3. Carry-out Risk Assessments and conducts Accident Investigations. 4. Ensure that employees wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required and adhere to safety standards and procedures. 5. Prepare and submit monthly activity reports.
