Job Requirements Bachelor Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or a related field - Essential Eight (8) years of experience in Information Technology, including (2) years in Team Leading Level - Essential English Language Level: Level I STEP: 75%, OR IELTS: 6, OR TOEFL: (PBT: 500) (IBT: 61) - Essential.
• Manages KSAU-HS Information Security and Governance strategy in alignment with KSAU-HS Business Strategy. • Manages Information Security and Governance and strategic plans, policies, programs and schedules to accomplish corporate goals and objectives. • Evaluates information security key risk indicators and changes in risk profile driven by incidents, internal and external loss events, independent control evaluations (e.g. audits, exams, SOX and compliance testing) and other self-identified issues. • Manages the fundamental business activities performed by KSAU-HS, and suggests appropriate information security solutions that adequately protect the activities. • Develops action plans, schedules, budgets, status reports and other top management communications intended to improve the status of information security at KSAU-HS. • Manages and guides the performance of comprehensive security assessment, design, deployment of security controls and infrastructure to provide effective protection that is aligned with industry standards such as ISO 27002 Framework for information Security. • Oversees the work of information security consultants, contractors, temporaries, and outsourcing firms. • Creates and manages information security risk management and awareness training programs for all employees, students, contractors and approved system users. • Manages the department staff, assign work and ensure that the work is completed in a timely manner.
