Job Responsibilities

 Responsible for high-level management and delivery of KAIMRC current and future research related projects ensuring optimal utilization of available resources and considering the goals and objectives of KAIMRC.  Defines and scopes a project, sets strategic project goals and objectives. Plans, budget, and oversees all aspects of a project, ensuring that the scope and direction is on schedule and within the budget. Manages and oversees the quality control throughout the projects' life cycle. Manages internal resources and liaise with project stakeholders for the flawless execution of projects.  Ensures the projects are within the budget and without exceeding the variation limits as specified in the project agreement. Ensures that available resources are used in the most effective and efficient manner. Optimize the use of organizational resources reducing overheads.  Standardizes routine tasks, formulating standard operating procedures and policies, incorporating best practices and reducing the number of tasks that could potentially be forgotten. Incorporates quality principles and overcome technical challenges. Manages responses to project problems and prevent exacerbation in terms of cost, schedule and quality.  Analyzes and evaluates all aspects of ongoing projects and needs for system improvements and recommends technology modifications/ upgrades or changes to policies and procedures as appropriate.  Undertakes and manages risk management and business process re-engineering of the projects.  Ensures all projects are undertaken within safety codes and other applicable regulations and requirements for quality management, health and safety, legal stipulations, environmental policies and general duty of care.  Conducts random inspections and quality checks to ensure compliance with the contract documents.
