Principal Duties: Supervises the operation and administration of teaching management and lecture generating systems used for campus, online and web-assisted courses. Administers schedules and evaluates E-Learning systems supporting staff and service delivery performances. Identifies and develops areas of instructional need and provides assistance to faculty in the development of online and web-assisted courses. Plans, coordinates and conducts training in the use of technologies for faculty, staff and students. Facilitates faculty and student success through development of online tutorials, providing informational pages and offering face-to-face course management system orientations. Coordinates with Technical Support in relation to E-Learning programs including video conferencing, webcasting, and podcasting for faculty and students. Keeps abreast of emerging technologies and new software relevant to E-Learning and works collaboratively with faculty, staff and administration in developing instructional uses of technology. Maintains quality standards for E-Learning course delivery based on nationally recognized best-practice criteria. Coordinates with Student and Academic Affairs ensuring the class and course support is accurately provided to faculty and students. Plans, implements and manages the E-Learning awareness campaign. Performs other job-related duties as required.
