Job Responsibilities

Principal Duties:  Supervises the operation and administration of teaching management and lecture generating systems used for campus, online and web-assisted courses.  Administers schedules and evaluates E-Learning systems supporting staff and service delivery performances.  Identifies and develops areas of instructional need and provides assistance to faculty in the development of online and web-assisted courses.  Plans, coordinates and conducts training in the use of technologies for faculty, staff and students.  Facilitates faculty and student success through development of online tutorials, providing informational pages and offering face-to-face course management system orientations.  Coordinates with Technical Support in relation to E-Learning programs including video conferencing, webcasting, and podcasting for faculty and students.  Keeps abreast of emerging technologies and new software relevant to E-Learning and works collaboratively with faculty, staff and administration in developing instructional uses of technology.  Maintains quality standards for E-Learning course delivery based on nationally recognized best-practice criteria.  Coordinates with Student and Academic Affairs ensuring the class and course support is accurately provided to faculty and students.  Plans, implements and manages the E-Learning awareness campaign.  Performs other job-related duties as required.
