1. Participates in pre-production planning and development of the creative and technical aspects of the project. Studies, reviews and edits scripts; familiarize with production concepts and requirements. 2. Monitors pre-production, production and post-production processes ensuring accurate completion of all details. 3. Coordinates activities of assigned writers, artists, photographers, broadcast technicians, audiovisual technicians and other personnel throughout the design and production process. 4. Assists in securing copyrights and related approvals for non- KSAU-HS produced materials to prevent copyright infringement. 5. Organizes shooting schedules and refer schedule conflicts to immediate supervisor for resolution. Handles all scheduling and logistics of the filming. Ensures staff and contractors understand the requirements of the production, and are on sight on time. 6. Troubleshoots issues with filming, modify or change scripts, or add additional aspects to the filming to enhance the production. 7. Cuts shot sequences to different angles at specific points in scenes, making each individual cut as fluid and seamless as possible. 8. Edits films and videotapes to insert music, dialogue, and sound effects, to arrange films into sequences, and to correct errors, using editing equipment. 9. Assists in the development, review and implementation of departmental resource materials, policies and procedures for the production and delivery of staff and student education programs. 10. Maintain logbooks and other forms of documentation on equipment and completed work. 11. Performs other job related duties as required.
