Job Requirements

Education: Bachelor Degree in in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field – Essential Work Experience: Two (2) years of experience in computer and peripheral set-up, repair, upgrading, and operation or a related field – Essential English Language Level: Level – I – Essential

Job Responsibilities

- Develops, designs and maintains the library website. - Provides support for library staff and users on how to use the library systems and digital services. - Manages the installation, maintenance and support of library management system, as well as, analyzes library server performance and stability. - Plans and implements library portal/web site and content as needed. - Participates in the installation and configuration of computing hardware and software obtained for the library in both staff and public areas. - Tests, maintains and supports all aspects of the library computer workstations both hardware and software, consulting when necessary with the concerned parties. - Coordinates repairs with outside contractors. - Serves as a resource for all library system/network problems and questions, consulting with vendors or conducting research to solve problem in-house. - Provides technical assistance and training to library staff on the library management systems and technologies. - Performs other job-related duties as required.
