Job Description
• Collaborates with researchers on the development and implementation of animal research projects.
• Advises researchers on the design and application of experimental methods and protocols.
• Performs surgical, testing and monitoring procedures and on various laboratory animal species.
• Teaches surgical, dosing, samplings and monitoring techniques to students, staff and researchers.
• Supervises relevant anesthesia systems and protocols for various animal species.
• Liaises with vivarium staff, external suppliers and research groups on laboratory animal requirements.
• Ensures full operational compliance with relevant regulatory and ethical standards.
• Ensures that the surgical facility and equipment is maintained at a high operational standard.
• Maintains records and documents according to operational and quality management standards.
• Collaborates with and provide high quality feedback to the Senior Veterinarian.
• Performs other job-related duties as required.
Skills
English Language Requirement (Level I) :To apply for this position, you must meet one of the following:
• STEP: %75 or more.
• IELTS: 5 or more.
• TOEFL iBT: 51 or more.
• TOEFL PBT: 466 or more.
