Job Description
Principal Duties:
• Provides quality care to the students through assessments, effective communication, and active participation within a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Develops case-specific intervention plans in consultation as required.
• Counsels students in cases of severe reaction to illness, disabilities, death.
• Provides professional counseling and guidance to students related to their educational, psychological, and interpersonal concerns.
• Maintains accurate records of the students’ information as required.
• Assists the student with a low-grade point average (GPA) through their Academic Supervisor.
• Provides a liaison, a good relationship, and help to improve communication with the students as required.
• Conducts and participates in the university activities and as required.
• Contributes to relevant matters requiring the involvement of Social Services.
• Participates in orientation programs and attend continued education and training from the University.
• Performs other job-related duties as required.
