Job Description
• Enhances information systems functionalities and performance by designing, developing, and modifying systems, programs, and integrations to meet user needs.
• Researches, evaluates, and recommends solutions and appropriate technologies to meet user needs, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
• Plans and tests application and database changes, including installations of upgrades, patches, and new versions, in collaboration with development, business process owners, and infrastructure teams.
• Recommends, schedules, and performs software improvements and upgrades, providing end users with basic training on the operation of new or modified programs and applications.
• Maintains best cybersecurity practices in the design and development of systems, applications, and programs to safeguard organizational data.
• Generates statistics and reports, and maintain dashboards and other applications to support data-driven decision-making.
• Develops system documentation, user manuals, and standard operating procedures.
• Collaborates cross-functional teams to ensure systems meet operational and compliance requirements.
• Provides technical support and training to staff and students on IT-related issues, troubleshooting and resolving problems promptly.
• Assists in the day-to-day maintenance of the organization's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, hardware, and software systems.
• Performs other job-related duties as required.
