Job Description
• Performs specialists’ level work and fabricate prostheses according to best practice.
• Consults with staff dentists regarding design, setup or fitting devices, ensuring smooth and efficient operation and workflow and design and keep all necessary records of all performed work.
• Performs and adjust removable prosthetic work and other prosthetic work as required.
• Produces dental laboratory procedures according to the guidelines and criteria established in the given specialty, i.e., Orthodontics, Fixed Prosthodontics, Removable Prosthodontics (full and partial), Esthetic Ceramic Restorations, etc.
• Ensures maintenance and requisition of department equipment and supplies through appropriate channels. Assuring adequate inventory and control within the assigned area.
• Provides training and mentorship to junior staff.
• Familiarizes and introduces new technologies and clinical procedures• Performs other job-related duties as required.
