Job Description
• Develops and implements polices, standards and procedures related to data management and governance.
• Classifies university data in accordance with National Information Center (NIC).
• Prepares reports to capture the progress, performance and quality in order to verify all polices / processes that has been implemented.
• Monitors and performs periodical inspections to ensure adherence to defined standards, polices and processes.
• Works with the university departments to achieve data governance requirements.
• Creates methods for monitoring and reporting any data incidents.
• Support the implementation the university data inventory.
• Develops strategies for data classification and data access controls.
• Analyzes and oversees strategies designed to enhance data protection.
• Performs other job related duties as required.
