Job Description
• Implements and manages the assessment program of the college in accordance with national and international assessment standards.
• Coordinates the development and/or identification of grade-level standards-based assessment used to monitor the academic progress and learning needs of students.
• Provides support for assessment activities, such as arranging meetings in preparation for the assessment review, assessment results/outcomes using psychometric indicators and summarizes reports to concerned officials.
• Provides technical support to ensure all items received are accurate, in a proper format, and free of any technical flaws.
• Coordinates with other departments for issues related to Assessment Unit (AU) and ensures correspondence through the departments E-mail are disseminated to the concerned officials.
• Supervises the preparation of testing reports as planned in the college/university.
• Guarantee confidentiality of all assessment items in the AU.
• Stores, maintains and retrieves all assessment items in a local bank and develops and maintains filing system according to the identified system of classification.
• Assists in professional development activities related to item writing and psychometric analysis, and works on assessment improvement projects as required (such as curriculum alignment).
• Performs other job-related duties as required.
