Job Requirements

Education: Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering – Essential. Work Experience: Three (3) Years of experience in Mechanical Engineering – Essential. English Language Level: Level I STEP: 75% or More, IELTS: 5 or more, TOEFL: (PBT: 466 or more) (IBT: 51or more) - Essential.

Job Responsibilities

- Manages maintenance issues and deals with staff, end-users, and all management levels, daily and as needed, and responds to the issues in the assigned areas and promptly to emergencies. - Ensures routine general and preventive maintenance processes are in place; defines and operates a comprehensive Planned Preventive Maintenance System (PPM), identifying all required PPM work. - Analyzes and evaluates installations/equipment in existing buildings/facilities to identify deficiencies and make corrections proposals. - Ensures the completeness of all records and updates drawings, specifications, and other documents for the campus's buildings, equipment, and systems in coordination with the Technical Library. - Manages Stakeholders' engagement to collect the requirements for any proposed project and produces feasibility studies considering the impact on the environment, organization, community, and people. - Leads a team of engineers/architects to design all engineering/architectural requirements in order to develop a complete tender document that includes the scope of work, technical specifications, bill of quantities, and drawings within budget limitations, where the proposed projects can be intended for modifications, alterations, adaptations or new constructions. - Performs technical evaluation on the bids submitted by contractors and ensures work is executed and completed as designed in accordance with KSAU-HS standards, codes, policies, and procedures (IPP and APP). - Provides technical assistance related to projects, defines and evaluates requirements for mechanical systems, mechanical plans, and other project documentation services to ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and KSAU-HS requirements. - Keeps track of assigned projects and ensures completeness of all records and documents. - Performs other job-related duties as required.
