Education: Bachelor Degree in Nursing/Infection Control or related field Knowledge of Basic Life Support and other Safety regulations and disaster and CSSD/TSSU Certification.
-Ensures CSSD activities are within established University, College, and Department specific guidelines, Policies, and procedures, international standards and protocols, etc. -Maintains high visibility and monitors the sterilization process of equipment, instruments, and supplies to ensure quality product and patient outcomes. -Complies with hospital infection control and safety protocols.
