Job Requirements

English Language skills: IELTS: 6, STEP: 75, or TOEFL: (PBT: 500) (IBT: 61) Education: Bachelor Degree in Business Studies/Business Administration/public Administration or in a related discipline. Work experience: Five years experience in a hospital, business or educational environment.

Job Responsibilities

1. Assists the Senior Coordinator for all Symposia/Conference related tasks. 2. Prepares and follows-up correspondences/invitations for all local and international guest speakers to confirm their attendance. 3. Communicates with local and international guest lecturers to arrange visas, travel, accommodation and transportation in conjunction with their visit. 4. Organizes catering, and social events for symposia. 5. Makes necessary contacts to reserve symposia venue after the determination of the Scientific Committee. 6. Chooses and selects bags/folders, gifts/awards in collaboration with the Senior Coordinator, Academic Affairs for the guest speakers and delegates on a timely manner. 7. Works closely with the Senior Coordinator, Academic Affairs to ensure that all related symposium materials are completed and received well in advance prior to the symposium/conference date. 8. Ensures that all printing materials (banners, posters, abstracts, programs, badges, certificates) are all complete and proofread prior to final printing. 9. Ensures that all directional signs are all prepared and in placed (Le. symposium site) prior to the symposium date. 10. Follows-up contacts with local businesses on behalf of Academic Affairs, to establish business relationships in relation to ticketing, hotels, social events, catering, printing materials, delegate bags/folders and other symposia related business. II. Ensures the timely distribution of symposia announcements, call for abstracts and other promotional materials. 12. Develops, in collaboration with Audiovisual Services, a blue print for the exhibition hall. 13. Coordinates symposia/conferences requirements with various hospital departments, Le. Audiovisual Services, Transportation, Public Relations & Media Affairs, Military Police, lSD, Housekeeping Department, Utilities and Maintenance, etc. 14.
