Job Requirements

Education - Master Degree in Health Sciences, Life Sciences, Basic Science, MBBS or related discipline from an accredited institution – Essential - PhD in related field – Preferred Work Experience - Minimum of 8 (eight) years’ experience in related field in similar clinical research process and scientific methods – Essential - Expertise in the management, quality and audit related to clinical trials and scientific research - Preferred - Expertise in submission in the development of investigational new drug/ investigational brochure for new drug applications -Preferred - Experience in dealing and coordinating with regulatory authorities - Preferred Competencies - Proven clinical research skills – Essential - Ability to communicate effectively – Essential - Ability to work with a team – Essential - Ability to develop others – Essential

Job Responsibilities

- Responsible for providing research project consultation to immediate superior. - Participate in planning and marketing business and entrepreneurship; establishing new clinical and business research and activities for business improvement requirements; designing organizational strategies to develop new research projects. - Implement research and business plans and utilize resources in appropriate manner; handle variety of developmental projects within certain budget parameters; ensure organizational networking, business initiatives and collaboration. - Responsible for the development of key stakeholders’ matrix and suppliers/partners program to optimize KAIMRC operations and business. - Create a working and dynamic culture that support innovation and projects development. - Responsible for collaborating with the national and international scientific partnership. - Initiate/support research programs or projects that aligned to the overall objectives of KAIMRC as well as provide scientific intelligence and capacity inputs to the organization. - Lead continued development planning of the infrastructure for the organizational needs. - Identify and assess the new and niche opportunity for process improvements and propose solutions including potential strategic partners, analyze synergies, propose mutually beneficial collaboration framework. - Provide input on new methods to improve work efficiency, and promote teamwork, communications, and sharing information among projects planning in domain of expertise. - Ensure all research consultation works are conducted in compliance with the relevant laws and policies, applicable MOH standards, regulating and accrediting bodies. - Perform other job related duties.
