Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering , Computer Science or equivalent – Essential Master’s degree in information security - Preferred Minimum of eight (8) years working experience within a large established organization, out of the eight (8) years four (4) years should be in a supervisory or managerial level – Essential English Language skills: IELTS: 6, STEP: 75%, or TOEFL: (PBT: 500) (IBT: 61)

Job Responsibilities

• Creates KSAU-HS Information Security and Governance strategy in alignment with KSAU-HS Business Strategy. • Directs and manages Information Security and Governance strategic plans, policies, programs and schedules to accomplish corporate goals and objectives. • Understands the fundamental business activities performed by KSAU-HS, and suggests appropriate information security solutions that adequately protect the activities. • Assists with the clarification of individual information security responsibility and accountability and ensures that necessary information security activities are performed as needed, according to the policies, procedures and standards. • Develops action plans, schedules, budgets, status reports and other top management communications intended to improve the status of information security at KSAU-HS. • Performs and/or oversees the performance of comprehensive security assessment ,design , deployment of security controls and infrastructure to provide effective protection that is aligned with industry standards such as ISO 27002 Framework for information • Acts as the primary liaison and advisor regarding the work of information security consultants, contractors, temporaries, and outsourcing firms. • Awareness of the latest developments in the information security field, including new products and services, through on-line news services, technical magazines, professional association memberships, industry conferences, special training seminars, and other methods. • Manages the department staff, assign work and ensure that the work is completed in a timely manner.
